Jenny opened the meeting at the Pyramid Event Venue at 12:15pm and led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance followed with the Four-Way Test.

Happy Bucks:
Brian: Weather has been fantastic. Heading to PETS in Chicago this weekend.
Ken: Arts Alliance presents Artist Showcase Sunday, March 3 at the Pyramid. (poets, musicians, writers) Proceeds go to LMHS Musical Theatre.
Ed: LMHS Solo & Ensemble was last weekend with amazing performances. LMHS Girls Basketball qualified for sectionals.
Janine: Great weekend. She signed up for Fun Birkie.
Tom: great time with Megs.
Jennifer: Enjoyed golf in Cabo. Local student power lifters heading to state.
Tonya: Solo & Ensemble had amazing performances. Shout out to Eli. Rooting for Illinios this weekend.
Gerard: Go Fighting Ilini. Solo & Ensemble was a success. Thanks to the Pyramid for providing a place for live rehearsal.
Debb: Gussied up for a foundation fundraiser that helps raise funds for Alano Rose.
Jenny: Happy for all Happy Bucks. Played golf last weekend. Brian will fill in for Jenny next week.
Student Rotarians – four way test and going to state for history. Jenny thought it would be great to have a tunnel for the students on their last day.
Club News:
New Beginnings was the speaker last Wednesday. (non-profit that helps support domestic violence survivors) Serve 1,200 per month (1,000 new per year) Could receive profits from Pyramid 5K.
Calendar Raffle: Sponsors have been selected. Tickets will be available this week. If you need tickets before the next Rotary meeting, please contact Barb. 300 tickets will be sold. Need to be sold before start of raffle which is first Tuesday in April. Asking each Rotarian to sell/buy 5 tickets. There will be a video made on how to get tickets and promote selling tickets.
Blood Drive is April 9. Sign up next week.
Ed: point of order in regards to proceeds of Pyramid 5K. By-laws need to be followed. Will be discussed at next board meeting (March 26)
Speaker:
Brian Hafenstein gave a presentation on his farm Sunset Hill Farms. Discussed how he started at Coffee with Veterans. Sunset Hill Farms provides a venue for weddings, retirement parties, grad parties etc. Hosts several festivals each year. All money raised from festivals goes to scholarship or veterans. Donated to the local foundation and started a scholarship in memory of his wife.
