Greg R. recently attended a Writer's Conference at University of Wisconsin's Writers' Institute in Madison. He pitched three agents and have interest from two of them, one wants to see the full manuscript.
Steve filed his taxes, only to have them rejected. His son already filed his taxes and didn't mark he was a dependent on anyone else's taxes.
Ed attended the HS Play on Friday and it was fantastic. He was also happy to announce that a new Interact Leader has stepped forward for next year. Dan Bourassa (former teacher and coach) will take over the position for the 2018-2019 school year.
Jenn shared that she has Casino Night tickets available for sale. This event helps support the Lake Mills Chamber of Commerce.
Amy has Turkey a la King tickets for sale, which will be held on Wednesday, April 25th at Lake Mill Congregational Church.
Ann is happy to announce that she will be turning 50 on Friday. She invited everyone to join in her celebration on Friday at the Gobbler from 7-12. Her brother's band will be performing starting at 8.
Gerard was happy his snowblower worked! He was also happy for successful parent teacher conferences. Gerard also reminded everyone that a local grocery store was rounding up for the local library. So far the total raised was around $5000 and it was only half way through the month.
Mary was happy for safe driving on Sunday for work.
