President Beth Naughton brought the meeting to order at 12:15pm. Pledge of Allegiance and 4 Way Test recited. Nineteen Rotarians were in attendance, two Rotarians on zoom plus five guests.
Birthdays: Steve C. and Jenny M. Happy wedding anniversary to Jim and Deb Wishau (19 years)
Happy Bucks:
Jim W. celebrated his 19th wedding anniversary. Informed club that honorary member Boyd F. passed away. Brother-in-law passed away. Had a benign tumor removed from finger.
Brian B. visited Al (veteran from their DC trip) who was celebrating his 70th wedding anniversary.
Art D. (visiting Rotarian) celebrated his 20th wedding anniversary in Bayfield which is also where he and his wife spent their honeymoon.
Gerard S. was glad to spend some time with Boyd at Rotary Park bench dedication. Moved his son into Madison. Celebrated anniversary with wife.
Janine took both her boys to university. Now an empty nester.
Ed H. was appreciative that he was able to spend time with Boyd in July. Main Street Band performed in Oconomowoc. Celebrated his 43rd wedding anniversary. And spent time with the Everhart grandkids.
Andy B. noted that his kids did an amazing job dancing at Irish Fest in Milwaukee. He will now be the elementary school mascot for his daughter’s school.
Scott E. mentioned that his grandson is safe in Hawaii after going through his first hurricane.
Tom V. was glad to See Steve B. attend meeting.
Beth N. had a great time in New York with her girls.
Greg R. will be in Lake Geneva selling his books and talking with people.
Club Business:

Jim and Ed will do a presentation about the Foundation next week.
Student Rotarians will begin next month.
Committees will meet on September 1 during noon meeting. New committee is needed for a costume contest on witches’ night out (October 29) at Commons Park.
Need speakers for September 8 and 15.

Spread the word about Head Start. Under enrolled at the present time. Has 1 year to get completely enrolled.
