President Anita Martin brought the meeting to order at 12:19pm. Pledge of Allegiance and 4 Way Test recited.
Twenty-two Rotarians were in attendance. One Rotarian on Zoom. Five guests including Rep. Joan Fitzgerald and Senator Melissa Ratcliff attended the meeting plus 4 student Rotarians.

Jim Wishau gave annual report on the Lake Mills Rotary Foundation. Ed Heimstreet presented the financial report.

Rotary meeting continued.
Ed Heimstreet presented pictures of the solar project in Goregaon, India. Lake Mills Rotary donated to this international grant project. Photos included supplies, solar panels, progress of project and volunteers handing out nutrition bars. Cost of project was $96,000.
Student Rotarians presented their fun facts (Ella, Linc) Madelynn told us about herself and Victoria introduced herself.
Thank you to volunteers who worked the concession stand last week. If referees request food, please record so Rotary is reimbursed from the Rec Department. Make sure to keep the donut maker on stand by while concession stand is open.
Thank you to the sponsors, volunteers and night meeting Rotarians for all the work done for the 5K Run/Walk. Approximately $5,900 will be donated to the Minds Over Mountains initiative. At the next Board meeting, Board will discuss who will receive funds for the 2026 5K Run/Walk. Zoom will be available for meeting. Possible recipients could be Library expansion, Outdoor Learning Center at Lake Mills Elementary, mentally ill individuals thru NAMI (National Alliance for Mentally Ill Southeast Wisconsin October 7 meeting there will be a club vote to decide recipient.
Next Board meeting will be September 30th at 7:00am at Farmers and Merchants Bank. All are invited to attend. All are welcome to attend. Next meeting will be September 30th at EMS Community Building. Presentation will be A Life Touched by Polio given by Mark Wallner. October 7thprogram will be classification speech by Eric D. Foundation meeting will be October 21st at 7:00am at Nicole Froehle’s office. All are welcome to attend. October 14thprogram will be the Teacher of the Month Awards. October 21stprogram will be Run for Glory Film by Steve Zambo. Interact program will be October 22nd at the high school beginning at 5:30pm.

Calendar Raffle Committee meeting will take place after Board meeting on September 30th at Farmers & Merchants Bank. Looking to make changes to calendar raffle and would appreciate input and help with publicity, posters, etc.
