Day Meeting Minutes - October 23, 2018 (Oct 23, 2018)

Ann Lee opened the meeting at the Lake Mills EMS building at 12:20pm and led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance followed with the Four-Way Test.

Karen - Tim Lesperance passed. Tyranena Ladies Club fashion show this thursday at 7pm at city hall
Dave - wife, son and his wife went up to the Hatch Distillery and had a great time
Tom - Went to chicago to his first opera and to the green mill jazz club
Ed - Lakeside football win, LMHS cross country to state, LMHS football and Brewers losses, Badger win
Ann - Trivia night last week was great. LMHS Volleyball season ended

PROGRAM

Michelle Anderson spoke about her incredible journey overcoming her suffering from epilepsy. She shared with us the 3 destructive tools for coping that should be avoided (anger, control, denial), and emphasized acceptance, self-awareness, and sharing. She has found that suffering is often hid from others. By sharing her story and methods of coping, she hopes to help others who may still be in a darker place.
