President Anita Martin called the meeting to order at 12:21pm. Pledge of Allegiance and 4 Way Test recited.
Eighteen Rotarians were in attendance and one on zoom. Three guests attended the meeting plus speakers.

Wellbrook Recovery: Melissa Foreman gave us information about Wellbrook Recovery, a 30 bed facility in Brookfield, WI. Will return in the future as a guest speaker.
August Blood Drive: 94 pints of blood collected. Next blood drive is October 15 noon-6pm. Looking for volunteers to help with take down. Call Brian 608-295-2689 if you can help. Also looking for donations of baked goods.
Lake Mills HS NHS will be hosting a blood drive on October 8 from 8am-3pm at the high school.
Board meeting: The Board voted by email to raise the price of the meals by $1 to $13 starting October 1. Currently, the cost for each meal is $12.50.
Rotary Apparel: Ken Stetson family donated a few of his Rotary shirts and pins. Thank you to the Stetson family.

An email was sent by the district governor to let Rotarians know about the passing of Dave Anderson who was a past district governor.
Fall Concessions: Todd let us know that the concession needs a couple volunteers for the first 2 hours on Saturday. Jane Jensen volunteered.
5K Run/Walk is this Saturday. Proceeds benefit UW Alzheimer’s Initiative. Anita will check with Sandee if more volunteers are needed. Dr. Stork will give a presentation before the race begins. Breakfast will be available at Sunrise after run/walk.
Haus of Peace trivia in October. More details to follow.
Happy Bucks: Tom Vinz likes the new time for the meeting. Ed Heimstreet has pictures of solar project to share. Gerard Saylor was in Texas for his cousin’s wedding. Anita Martin has friends in their 80’s who recently married.
Next meeting will be September 16th at EMS building. Presentation will be by Robin Untz, curator for the Lake Mills Historical Society. Invite guests for a great presentation.
Night Rotary: September 17 from 6pm-7pm at Tyranena Brewing.
Next Board meeting will be September 30th at 7am at Farmers and Merchants Bank. All are invited to attend.
