PROGRAM
Greg shared his journey from 28 years at the milwaukee fire department and 10 years of work on his book, to now being a published author. His first creative writing course was at UW writing classes, and he progressed through the courses. He got into the masters classes and about 4 years ago he was told to submit his work to contests. With 400 other writers at a conference in the midwest, he submitted his work and he got first place in fiction AND first place in nonfiction. He then attended conferences all over. (Greg tells such a good story that Scott forgot to continue taking notes).
