PROGRAM
Carol Burrows from Club 55 spoke about their organization and needs. They started in RLAC in 2009 but the facility didn't meet their needs. The city offered use of the multiuse room in city hall, but this was not condusive to leaving things up and available for the seniors. They now meet at First Congregational UCC Church on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 2:30pm. They offer socialization, projects and crafts, board games, and health services to their members. There is no charge to attend and everyone is welcome. They are also always looking for speakers or events for their members.
