Program
Steve Mode from Fort Atkinson spoke about their two year project building the warming shack at Haumerson Pond.
Haumerson Pond has a rich history of winter outside activities, like ice skating
The amazing warming shack (quite large in reality) was constructed using materials only from wisconsin and locally sourced wood and bricks
The effort was a huge collaboration of donated time and skills for every aspect of the construction
In addition to the building, trails were created for hiking, skiing, snow shoeing, and more.
The renovation of the park has been a huge success for the community
