President Anita Martin brought the meeting to order at 12:20pm. Pledge of Allegiance and 4 Way Test recited. Sixteen Rotarians were in attendance plus one on zoom. Eight guests (Alex Priester, Dean Westman, Laura Feghali, Mary Ann Jackson, Carol Burrows, Jason Marin, Abigail Leavens, and Christian Del Aguila) plus 4 student Rotarians were in attendance.
- Beth read the story of Stone Soup. Lake Mills Rotary will be holding a soup event on Friday, December 5 from 5pm-7pm at Commons Park. There will be a variety of soups, homemade bread, and hot apple cider. Tree lighting will be at 5:30pm. Please consider making a donation to the food pantry. T-shirts were available for those that would like to wear a Rotary t-shirt over their coats.

- Four student Rotarians introduced themselves today. Gracyn (Lake Mills HS), Regan (Lake Mills HS), Carter (Lakeside Lutheran HS) and Tyler (Lakeside Lutheran HS)
- Fun facts about guests in attendance:
- Jason Marin lives on a farm and has new kittens. Great pickle ball player.
- Alex Priester drove an Uber in Chicago.
- Carol Burrows grew up on a farm and attended a one room schoolhouse. Also had a motorcycle license after noticing someone driving by on a motorcycle throwing comic books.
- Mary Ann Jackson’s first job was a spot welder.
- Laura Feghali has known Anita since middle school. On her way back to her family during college, she sat next to Robert Redford.
- Abigail Leavens is getting married in one month.
- Christian works at Bank of Lake Mills and is bilingual.
- Gerard read some fun facts about Barb. Barb and her husband are high school sweethearts. They have 3 grandsons in Lake Mills and their exchange daughter who they have known for almost 20 years has 4 sons in Germany. They have lived in 10 different homes/apartments.

Lake Mills Rotary has raised $830 for the Adopt a Family program (Christmas Neighbors). Goal is at least $1,000. If making a donation by check, please make check payable to Lake Mills Rotary Foundation and write, "Adopt-a-Family" on the memo line. Ed will collect until next Tuesday. There are more families this year than last year that need help this holiday season.
Lake Mills Rotary is involved in local, regional and international projects. Projects include: expanding the Rock River Clinic (including dental), donated $300 to purchase computer for a school in the Philippines, solar project for clean drinking water in India, clean water in the Philippines, cow project and cleft pallet surgery to name a few. Rotary has an impact all over the world.
Club 55 has Christmas baskets still for sale.
Tiffany from Fort Healthcare is available on the first Tuesday of each month to check blood pressure at no cost.
Calendar raffle tickets make great Christmas gifts. Make sure to pick up tickets as soon as possible.
