PROGRAM
Kim Trimborn - The Parlor Collective (CBD/Tanning store)
Kim and her family live in Lake Mills
The Parlor is owned by Kim and two others.
Cannabis has over 200 different "cannibinoid" compounds. CBD is one. THC is another. CBD binds to cannabinoid receptors in the body and can effect mood, memory, pain, or appetite. CBD is not "psychoactive" like THC. THC is what gives the "high" of cannabis.
In 2018, the Farm Bill made the sale of CBD legal if it is extracted from hemp (not cannabis). THC levels are what separate hemp plant form cannabis. As long as the THC content is less than .3% in hemp, it is legal to farm and sell.
All products in their store are extracted from hemp. They are also all third party lab tested to ensure legal compliance.
Kim has been through a lot of physical and emotional stress and found traditional medications had too many side effects for her personally. She researched CBD and started taking it to great personal benefit. Kim describes herself as NOT anti medicine or anti pharmaceuticals, but it wasn't working for her.
CBD can be found all over, but the industry is unregulated, so you risk getting bad products or products with higher THC levels than allowed.
