Aaron Genthe is in attendance to discuss the Paul Harris Awards.
Jenny: Thank you, Board of Rotary.
Jenny thanked the Board for all that was accomplished over the past year.
Dan: Financial Report
The Board approved the 2024/2025 Budget.
A concern that was raised by Brian Watson the final number is a deficit of $4,400.
We decided to vote this through, with the idea that it will act as a “push” towards our Lake MIlls Rotarians to be more involved in fundraising.
Another item that was discussed was that there is $60,000 sitting in the bank. The Board wants to challenge the members to come up with Community Project ideas.
We would like to have a strategic planning in our meeting.

Paul Harris Honorary Award
We discussed how to present a Rotary Club Member who has not contributed to the Paul Harris Society with a Paul Harris Award.
We have to make an amendment to the by-laws that will allow for Lake Mills Rotarian Members and Past Lake Mills Rotarian Members.
We also need to adjust the by-laws to allow for electronic voting.
Suggested verbiage: All voting shall be transacted by in-person, written, or Approved Electronic Vote except for election of officers and board members which shall be by written or Approved Electronic Vote.

New Day Meeting Location: the meeting will be occurring at the EMS building.
Foundation Discussing Funds: Nicole Froehle mentioned that there is an issue with when people make donations to the Foundation, it can’t be used for operating expenses or events usage.
Jenny had money donated to the Foundation as it was a 501c3. To use that money we could ask them to cover the Lake Mills Rotary Scholarship for a year.
