President Anita Martin brought the meeting to order at 12:23pm. Pledge of Allegiance and 4 Way Test recited. Twenty two Rotarians were in attendance. Guests: (Dan and Karly Zaeske, Principal Brad Smith, Pastor Don Schultz, Nathan Koerber), and 7 student Rotarians were also in attendance.

Club 55 has Valentine’s cards for sale. Blood pressure screening on the first Tuesday of each month.

Round Up for Rotary at the Lake Mills Market will be the month of February.
Wednesday, February 4 will be the night meeting from 6pm-7pm at Tyranena Brewery. Discussion will focus on 5K Run. The recipient will be the LD Fargo Library expansion project.
Tri-Con regional conference will be held April 17 & 18 in the Dells. Early bird registration ends on February 13. The Lake Mills Rotary Club has funds to send 2 people to the conference. It is a great experience.
Reminder: each Rotarian is asked to donate to the Rotary International Foundation if possible. To be eligible to participate in some grant projects, we need an average donation of $100 per Lake Mills Rotarian.
Make sure to give to annual fund. Rotary International is hoping each Rotarian will give $100.
Next week: Emma P. and Garett T. will give their introductory speeches.
Scott T. will hopefully be at the meeting to discuss pickle ball class in the spring.
Happy Bucks:
Brian B. played music bingo and sat at the winner’s table. (Anita was the winner). Music bingo is at the Pyramid on a monthly basis.
Karen R. explained the meaning of GOAT. She was promoted to Vice President at Badger Bank in January. She also mistakenly brought her name badge home but used it to attend a Rotary meeting in Fort Atkinson.
Gerard S. mentioned that his son was coached in track and cross country by the teacher of the month.
Andy B. mentioned that his son has moved to the next level in Irish dancing. Also noted that the Lake Mills Knickerbocker Festival is next weekend.
Ed H. got together with family for son’s birthday. And he sold the $500 winning ticket.
Jim W. said next week will be the voting for Foundation Board members. Still can nominate someone or yourself.
Anita M. thanked the raffle committee for all their hard work and thanked the sponsors and everyone that bought and/or sold raffle tickets. This is the biggest fundraiser of the year for Lake Mills Rotary Club.
