- Ed said that Hometown Pharmacy has closed. He is unsure what his future holds, but he feels so fortunate that he was able to serve the community.
- Steve said he wore red because there are 104 days until Christmas.
- Emily gave a happy buck for the Pyramid City Run that occurred last Saturday. She once again won the race.
- Raina gave a happy buck for the Pyramid City Run saying it was a beautiful day. It was great to see the green space being used downtown.

- Karsten Grundahl – Lives in town with his parents. He participates in football, basketball, and track. He is a rep of the Student Council and participates in the National Honors Society. This summer he worked at a summer camp. He also works at retail store in Jefferson called Twice and Nice. He is looking to study accounting in college and running track.
- Grant Schneider – Lives in Lake Mills. His father owns and operates a chicken farm. They have 250,000 chicken farm. They lay eggs. He has older siblings who go to UWSE and a younger sister who is freshman. He works at Doyles Dogs. He has met many awesome people. He is part of the math team and participates in Forensics. He intends to go to UW Madison in pursuit of being a clinical pharmacist.

- This will be occurring at 5:00pm. You do need to watch a video to participate.

Cynthia Weston from the Arts Alliance of Greater Lake Mills.
The Arts Alliance of Greater Lake Mills started in 2005. The mission of the AAGLM is as follows: The Arts Alliance of Greater Lake Mills serves to sustain and promote a viable cultural climate in the greater Lake Mills area by:
- Creating educational opportunities and financially supporting arts endeavors in the community.
- Attracting economic enterprise through area artists and resources.
- Connecting artists with each other through meetings and AAGLM sponsored events.
- Assisting other local organizations in promoting cultural activity in Lake Mills.
- Enhancing the culture of the Lake Mills community by providing leadership, advocacy, and support for the arts.
The AAGLM’s tagline is “everyone is an artist”. Everyone is an artist. Try not to put a box around what art is. Baking break, brewing beer, interior decorating, and many skills and hobbies fall under art. The AAGLM is on a mission to gain more members so that they bring the community closer together.
In September there are 11 member artists who are showing at the Fort Atkinson Artist. They had 15 artists at the Legendary Lake Mills Arts Festival. At this event they also have a “Kids Art Yard” kids and adults alike made robots out of toys and craft items.
Generally, in January, they put on the “Souper Bowl” where community members paint potted bowls, and that at the event you buy a bowl that comes with soup. They are unsure if they will be able to hold this event this year.
In February they plan to show the “Oscar Short Film Showing” at Pyramid Event Venue again.
This winter they are holding the “Winter Series” it is musicians, storytellers, poets, sharing their art.
The Arts Alliance gives out two scholarships per year at $1,000. One in memory of Mary Ellen Vinz and Margot Peters, both great friends of Cynthia.
AAGLM hosted a variety of workshops and informational sessions. Their last was body painting! They are trying to think outside the box.
Some new things coming up are that they are collecting crayons for the “Crayon Initiative”. With these crayons they will melt and send them to hospitals. “Fish Sticks Fundraiser” will be coming back. Artists will be decorating decorative stakes that can be used in planters, yards, and around town.
There is a fair amount of Public Work around town. Newly there is a kiosk in Commons Park and there is a self-guided walking tour. This was a collaboration with Legendary Lake Mills. There are historic buildings and public art spaces. There is the Lady of the Lake by City Hall, as well as Iron-work above the alley across the street from Pyramid Event Venue.
