President Beth Naughton brought the meeting to order at 12:17pm. Pledge of Allegiance and 4 Way Test recited. Nineteen Rotarians were in attendance, plus two guests, and four student Rotarians.

Happy Bucks:
Beth noted congratulations to Dan S. for being named Volunteer of the Year. Beth wore her 1982 Brewers shirt.
Ed H. went sailing on Sunday. Great sports weekend for the Brewers and Badgers and the Lake Mills HS football and boys soccer teams. Soccer is heading to sub sectionals and football is going to the Level 2 game this Friday at home.
Greg R. attended a writers conference last weekend. Greg’s book was on author Jerry Apps desk.
Karen R. noted that last weekend was the last concession stand for the year. Left over food was brought to the meeting (make an offer). All donations will go to the Rotary Club of Lake Mills.
Barb C. noted that their foreign exchange student from 20 years ago and 2 of her sons are here for a visit. And her youngest grandson turned 1 last weekend.
Anita M. mentioned that the digger has been installed at Rotary Park and Barb and Steve’s grandson Simon may have been the first child to play on it.
Janine F. noted that she returned from Alabama Parents Weekend and attended an Alabama football game.

Club Business:
Dues/meals/happy bucks invoices for Q1 are due. Invoices were emailed in early October.
Drawing for two tickets for the Lake Mills High School musical My Fair Lady was held today.
Looking for nominations for the president elect position for 2028-2029.
The Night meeting is looking for an organization for the proceeds for the 5K Run in 2027. Ideas are due by December 2, 2026.
Please be sure to invite new members to Rotary.
Witches Night Out is tomorrow from 4pm-6pm. Rotary is sponsoring a costume contest. Table will be set up across from the old Sentry building. Set up will start at 3:45pm.

November 3 – Teachers of the Month
November 7 – Fort Atkinson Rotary Club is hosting a Frosty Rock Run/Walk.
December 15 – Holiday party. More information will be available soon. No meetings on December 22 and 29, 2026.
