PROGRAM
Corissa Daines- Co-owner of Power and Grist crossfit gym in town

There is a misconception of crossfit as an extreme form of exercise.  Most of the attendees of her gym are moms and dads with abilities all over the spectrum.  Crossfit is high intensity lifting with interval training, but all movements or lifts can be progressed from extremely simple to advanced.  There is an emphasis on functional movement and training.  The goal is to get people moving, healthy, and allow for people to challenge themselves and gain confidence.  They offer a free trial for anyone who wants to try out the gym.  They are taking covid very seriously and have many precautions to reduce the risk of spread, including cleaning, disinfecting, distancing, and reduced attendees per class.  They also offer nutrition coaching and run weight loss challenges a few times per year.  They are also interested in corporate partnerships where they will run weight loss events or challenges for corporations.
