President Anita Martin brought the meeting to order at 12:21pm. Pledge of Allegiance and 4 Way Test recited.
Twenty Rotarians were in attendance. Zoom was not available. Four guests attended the meeting plus speaker.
Program:
Robin Untz from the Aztalan Historical Society presented power point about Aztalan and the history of the area. Aztalan Historical Society is a 501(c)3. Volunteers and funds are always needed. (limited resources) The museum is open June – September, Saturday and Sunday 12pm-4pm.
October 19 is the Cemetery Walk (Pine) from 1pm-3pm.
Happy Rotary Anniversary to Aaron G. (26 years) Happy Birthday to Kyle J.
Student Rotarians from Lake Mills High School (Madelyn S.) and Lakeside Lutheran (Linc F & Ella T.) were in attendance.
Digger at Rotary Park will be replaced next year. City will pay for replacement.
Thank you to Brian B. for his hard work and seeing the need for a handicap swing. New handicap swing will be at Rotary Park. City will pay for new swing.
5K Run/Walk was held on September 13. 70+ participants. Thank you to the sponsors.
Thank you cards received from Lake Mills Elementary School PTO for the donation to the Jennifer Nichols Outdoor Learning Area.
Greenwoods State Bank is accepting donations for school supplies. Please drop off at the bank or bring to Rotary and Anita will drop off.
Carolyn Liedtke, an artist, participant of Art Unsealed (Rotary fundraiser) and former Rotarian has passed away. Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Concession stand has new keys. Todd will let group who is working know how to manage the keys. New soccer date has been added October 18. Please let Todd know if your group can volunteer.
Next Night Meeting is September 17 at Tyranena Brewing from 6pm-7pm.
Classification speeches will resume. Eric D. will be October 7 and Garett T. will be December 2.
Change of date: Interact program will be October 22 at the high school beginning at 5:30pm. Pizza will be served. There will also be a noon meeting on October 21 at the EMS Community Building.
Boyd F. has fallen and is now at UW Rehab.

Rotary Friendship Exchange info has been sent out by email. Exchange will be from Newfoundland.
Next meeting will be September 23rd at EMS Community Building. Presentation will be about the Lake Mills Rotary Foundation. Presented by Jim Washau. Ed H. will provide an update on the solar project in India.
