PROGRAM
Todd Temperly - Social Distancing Movie Parties
Outdoor movies have been a hobby for Todd for over 50 years. He recently bought a screen and has been hosting outdoor movies during the covid era. They are attended by friends and neighbors.
Todd prefers metal framed screens by "Carl's Place Movie Screens" in Milton. Total cost is $200-$500 depending on screen size.
Todd recommends Epson projectors in the $300-$800 range. You'll also need a media player like a laptop or dvd player.
Ideal timing is 5 minutes after official dusk time
August and Sept are the best for weather due to less storms and wind.
Public relations are important to Todd. He is careful about what content is. He tries to end by 11pm on weekend and 10pm on weeknights so the noise doesn't keep people up.
