My name is Molly FitzGibbon. I have three younger sisters, two of which are twins. I spend most of my time volunteering for community service projects, working, and writing the school newspaper. In my free time, I enjoy reading,
writing, photography, baking, playing sports such as softball, basketball, cross country, and archery, and spending time with my friends. In all of these activities, however, I am focused on doing everything I can to be a stronger leader and positive influence in my school and community as a whole.

4. What are your plans after high school graduation?
After I graduate high school, I plan to attend UW-Madison to major in English. I’m considering extending my education to become an English teacher, likely one for high school students. My intention is that wherever I end up, I make a positive impact on the people around me and society as a whole.
5. What do you hope to gain from your selection as Student Rotarian?
As a Student Rotarian, I hope to gain perspective from the members of the Rotary Club. I would like to learn more about what the Rotary Club does for the Lake Mills community, and how I can become more involved to make positive contributions as well. I hope to learn from the Rotary Club members’s stories of their assistance and service to others and understand what it means to be a proponent of the community and making a difference. Finally, I hope to learn more about who I want to be as a person and how I can make a difference in society from the people who have done so already in such a compelling way.

I was born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska, and moved to Lake Mills in 5th grade. I have an older sister named Elena Voigt that lives in Las Vegas, and I still currently live with my mom in town. Music has always been a huge part of my life so I’ve been very involved with the music program in high school. I love traveling and exploring different places across the world, however my favorite place to visit is Puerto Vallarta, Mexico where my dad and his side of the family live.
