PROGRAM
Farm Tech Days - July 23-25. It is a celebration of agriculture. Lavern Georgson the executive director spoke about the event at the Walter Farm this year. They expect 40,000 attendees
Jeff Amundson spoke about ranked choice voting. Instead of voting for one candidate, you rank the candidates 1-4. After a process of elimination, all candidates end up winning with a majority of votes. It allows people to run outside a party line without "taking away" from a party candidates votes. This has been implemented in Maine recently and has been the voting process in Australia for some time. Fairvote.org for more information.
