President Beth Naughton brought the meeting to order at 12:20pm. Pledge of Allegiance and 4 Way Test recited. Twenty-one Rotarians were in attendance, two Rotarians on zoom plus one guest.
Happy anniversary to Patricia F. (24 years), Andy B. (4 years).
Happy Bucks:
Amy L. noted that she broke her office chair but now has a new chair and her back feels great. Janine F. wished her younger son happy birthday. Her older son visited Iowa State University and plans to attend there in the fall. Jenny M. thought it was great that she could zoom in to last week’s meeting from Canada. Ed H. went to a graduation party in Appleton and was able to visit family members. Andy B. said that if his kids learn a new trick out on the water, they get ice cream. His daughter did a 180 and 360 on a knee board. His son rode his wake board backwards. Scott E. said the Jefferson County Fair is this weekend and plans to attend the derby on Sunday. Barb C. was in Iowa this weekend and watched her nephew win the championship game for the baseball tournament. Also mentioned seeing a Rotary sponsor sign for the restrooms and storage area.
Club Business:
The Club needs a volunteer to receive emails and order lunch meals. Jen J. will be stepping back in August. Please contact Beth if you are interested.

Brian B. had an article in the Leader about his trip on the Honor Flight with veteran Al Weber.
Concession stand:
July 8 and July 16 need volunteers. (Thank you to those that signed up)
Quarterly invoices (April, May, June 2026) will be going out this week. Make sure to check your spam folder.
Todd Ripp from Aztalan Engineering stopped before the meeting and dropped off original plans for the Rotary concession stand. Stand was built in 2002.
Upcoming Events:
Pyramid City 5K Run will be held September 12. Posters are available to display. Sign up soon. Thank you to all the sponsors.
Social bike ride will be Wednesday, July 8 at 6pm starting at Sunshine Brewing. Helmet and trail pass required.
Clawking (Cleaning and walking) will be Friday, July 10 beginning at noon at Commons Park.
Blood Drive will be August 19 at the Lake Mills Fire Station.
Sex trafficking seminar will be September 17. More information to follow.
Volunteer for being a bartender this weekend at the Jefferson County Fair.
