Lake Mills Rotary Agenda: 04.23.2024, Pyramid Event Venue
Pre-Meeting:
Brian announced a local Lake Mills Student who is struggling. Brian has been in touch with Jessica Johnson and Pam Streich about the needs of this child. He has grown up with the odds against him. His Mom is in active addiction, he is living alone in a High School Senior, he is working full time while in High School. Brian is looking for pledges for donations. This is not through the Rotary Club, but this is a private situation. Please consider donating if you have the means, but do not share this story.

Program Speaker:
“ It’s easier to build strong children, than repair broken men”. The purpose of Watertown Family Connections is to build relationships, educational experiences and connections to resources that ensure all young children and families in our community thrive. Watertown Family Connections (WFC), formerly the Watertown Family Center, is a community-based family resource center that is a welcoming hub of support, services, and opportunities for families with children ages birth-5. We’ve been serving families in Dodge and Jefferson Counties since 1994. Our programs and services are free of charge.
When you strengthen families, you build a stronger future and community. They offer:
Parent Support: parenting programs, seminars, toolkits, etc.
Child Development: Family building, open play, classes, etc..
Success Courses: Courses for all members of families
