Dan S. presented the balance sheet and profit/loss vs budget statement as of September 30, 2026. Total assets: $69,590.51. Total liabilities/equity: $69,590.51 Net income July-September 2026 -$3,491.75
Paid rent to Club 55 thru December 2026.
Paid meals for July and August 2026.
Final figures for Run: $11,377.69. Night members paid expenses.
Concession stand will be close to $1,500 profit.

Lake Mills HS musical is My Fair Lady has given Rotary 2 free tickets for their sponsorship. Drawing will be held at noon meeting.
Club Business:
Arts Alliance is now sharing space in storage unit. Rotary needs to clean out their space. Storage unit will have a light installed at no cost for Club.
Concession stand – city started to winterize last Saturday (last game of the season). No water. Thanks to Zach W. for making concessions stand work for the day. New menu items may be added.
President elect office for 2028-2029: discussion needs to start soon. Start to think about who could be the next president elect.
Paul Harris points: need criteria. Beth will talk to Ed H. about multiple donations to foundation.
Community Projects:
Halloween costume contest in conjunction with Witches Night Out. Rotary table will be located across from old Sentry building. Interact students will be volunteering. Candy will be purchased by Amy L. and brought to table. Will take pictures with polaroid camera or cell phones if film runs out. Voting will be held by Club.
Blood Drive in December and moving forward will be at the Legion. Red Cross rep will attend meeting today and possibly check out Legion to make sure all is good.
July 4th concessions – John B. has a generator we can use instead of purchasing trailer. Needs committee. Mitch will still donate food for 2027.
Don B. introduced information about a community wide volunteer registry. Go to site to look for volunteer opportunities in the Lake Mills area with different service organizations. MemberDay site is a possibility. Monthly cost to join. Need software infrastructure. Need to talk to Legendary Lake Mills and possibly partner with them. Great way to connect service organizations. Motion made by Dan S. to continue to investigate. Second by Amy. L. Motion carried.
Cancer screening including vaccinations – Don B. is looking into pharma sponsorship. Rotary grant not proceeding. Exact Science wants sponsor guarantee. Start clinic at twice per year.
Pickle ball fence cost to repair/move is $4,300 (city estimate). City signed off on fencing. Apply for matching grant from the Lake Mills Area Community Foundation. Question about basketball court resurfacing (possible cost would be $10,000). Portion of proceeds benefit Rotary projects. Motion made by Dan S. to contact Pickle ball players about selling tickets. Second by Amy L. Motion carried.
Water bottle refill station in Commons Park – starting at $5,250. City just installed a water bottle filling station at Wallace Park Cost was $5,250. Sponsored by a local bank. Table until next meeting.
Library will be loading carts and moving books to city building. No date set.
Calendar raffle – 21 sponsors. Need to make a banner to put on the side of Dan S. office building. Drawings will begin at 12:15pm. Tickets and flyers will be printed soon.
Meals of Hope – working on dates.
Board members need to come up with criteria for who gets recognized with a paver or memorial.
Next Board meeting is November 24 at 8:00am at Farmers & Merchants Bank.
