PROGRAM
Ken Stetson - Spent 31 years in education, 27 of which were spent in Chicago schools. Ken read a poem by Charles Ives about pretty good not being enough if you want to be great. He spoke of a program called universities without walls in which the model of graduation is not based on credit hours. The program required competence and academic progress to graduate by approval of a committee. Ken had a large role in the program, but it has since faded in popularity.
