    1. 18-year-old who lives in Lake Mills off of Hwy 89. He has a younger sister named Becca. He is highly active in sports and is on the forensics team. He is interested in being a teacher. 

  2. Claire Langille - LS (BIO)

    1. She lives in Lake Mills and has an older sister at UW Madison and a younger sister at Lakeside. She is in NHS and sings in choir. She is unsure where she wants to go to college, but is interested in nursing. 

  3. Nev Ninneman - LM (Intro)

    1. A senior at Lake Mills High School. She is dressed as Taylor Swift for Homecoming today. She is a gymnastics instructor and does competitive cheerleading for a club in Madison. She applied to a lot of schools. She’s in the link crew and interact. 

  4. Ali Dean - LM (away at tennis sectionals)

  5. Jeremiah Legal - LM (college courses - cant attend rotary)

    1. Brian has quit smoking for 30 years! 

    2. Janine was in Tennessee for a work trip. It was a powerful conference. 

    3. Greg has some author events going on. This Wednesday there is a. Thursday 

    4. Ken went on a gambling trip over the weekend. He also met his newest grandchild.

    1. Community service - club 55 setup (Brian B)

This committee is working on a community service group so that we can get volunteers.

Please make sure to send Raina any pictures when you are volunteering at Lake Mills Rotary so that they can be posted online at 715-771-9587. We are trying to get people excited and interested in Rotary.

Please respond to Jenny’s email for a new member game. Ugly Sweater Party. An invitational event will be happening soon too! 

  1. DEI (Mick)

They have been working on a Rotary Speaker agreement so that they know what is expected of us. When a speaker is found, you need to get their email to Janine so that they can read the agreement. 

  1. New Event (Amy)

There will not be a Beer and Wine Tasting Event, however, there will be a summer music festival. Look for information.

  1. Today’s Program:

    1. The evening meeting is presenting checks to Local Lake Mills Food Pantries. Two weeks ago we presented $1,638 to the Mill. Today we presented to Sunshine Reach, Real Hope Community Church, and . Sunshine Reach started as a pop-up shop behind Sunshine Brewery and has expanded so much that they are looking for a permanent location. $2,700 is going to them. Lake Mills Food Pantry for 2866.

    2. Kim Peterson has lived in Lake Mills for about 20 years. She lives here with Ryan and her two sons. Carson is a sophomore and Jackson is in 7th grade. She has two dogs as well! She shared a cute story about Scout who was owned by Margo Peters and was released to the Lake Mills Vet Clinic. The vet clinic She grew up in Johnson Creek and worked for the Bank of Lake Mills for 14 years until she worked for the City of Lake Mills in the municipal office. She now works for the Lake Mills Police Department. She works part-time for Theatre, sells Scentsy, and also is a crossing guard. She loves ketchup but hates tomatoes. She is so happy to be in the Lake Mills Rotary club as she knows how much they give back.  

    3. Karen Hebert was our District governor last year. The Rotary Citation is awarded to the Rotary Club of Lake Mills. It was presented to Mick Selk and Brian Watson in front of the group. We strengthened membership, built rotary awareness, and made a tangible difference in our community. 

    4. District Challenge for Polio Plus. They are looking for $200 to get into the Polio Plus Society. They are looking to raise more money for polio eradication.
