6. Club Business/Committee Reports/Announcements
- Announcement re: Jefferson County Diaper Drive -Community baby shower hosted annually. Requesting donations of Huggies diapers sizes 1,2,3. Drop off at JC Health Dept. at 1541 Annex Road until Aug. 15th. Or bring to next meetings Rotary meeting and Anita will drop off.
- Anita Presented proposed 2025-2026 Rotary Club Budget (discussion/ possible decision) -Based on surveys and goals reviewed by Anita Martin and Beth Naughton. Reviewed at Board meeting last week. Board revised and approved. Presented to club for approval today.
- Added Spring Pickelball Class to be organized by Scott Tellefson
- Added Teacher donations and awards
- Calendar Raffle goal reduced to $10,000 income due to feedback from club.
- Increased marketing and membership
- Increased supplies due to rising costs
- Reduced Xmas Party and Awards Committee Budgets
- Reduced international projects and increased community projects to focus locally
- Club can also ask for discretionary funds from Rotary Foundation total available $6864

Aaron motion to approve budget, second Janine, discussion. Discussions about last years balance, teacher recognition corrected.
Ed H. brought concern that nothing budgeted for international. Amy reviewed discussion at board meeting that we exceeded our international last year. Forego International on budget for this year. Review again next year.
Correction made to teacher of the month expense of $4100. Amended Budget approved by club. None opposed.
- Community projects for 2025-2026 (What are unmet community needs?)

- No Noon meeting Tues. August 26th —5 pm Evening social instead at Tom Vinz asking to bring a dish.
- No Noon meeting Tues. Sept. 2nd (day after Labor Day)
- Wed. Aug. 6th-Road Side Clean-up with Night Group at 5 pm. Hwy G and Hwy 89. 30-45 min. estimated. Meet at Tyranena Brewery afterwards for fellowship and Pyramid 5k talk.
- Sat. Aug. 23rd -Memorial Ken Stetson at Korth Park
- Fall Soccer Game Concessions (Saturdays, Sept. 6- Oct. 18; 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.). Plans for “teams” this fall (Todd Larson//Will Gruber) details later
- Sat. Sept 13th-Pyramid 5k -thank you to the night group for organizing! Posters available to help promote.
8. This year’s Rotary themes--United for Good; Share the gift of Rotary
-Anita encouraged everyone to set personal Rotary Goals. Examples: inviting guest to a meeting, wearing Rotary shirt in public, handing out Rotary flyer, volunteer __# of times, etc.
