PROGRAM
District Governor Bill from Lacrosse addressed the club. There are over 35,000 districts world wide. We are district 6250. Most of the work of rotary occurs at the club level. You can find a list of past projects on the rotary website. It is a good resource for planning events that have been done by other clubs. Rotary Club is a leading organization to end polio. When rotary started working on polio, there were 350,000 cases per year. Last year, there were 15 cases. He also mentioned the membership incentive grant. If we are in the first 10 clubs in our district to get 4 new members, those new members will receive $1000 to put towards any project they choose. Finally, he challenged us to be the inspiration in our community.
