President Anita Martin brought the meeting to order at 12:22pm. Pledge of Allegiance and 4 Way Test recited. Twenty two Rotarians were in attendance plus one Rotarian on Zoom. Guests: Dennis Zeloski plus 4 student Rotarians were also in attendance.

Board meeting:
Library expansion naming rights. Hoping to get to the $25,000 level. The 5K Run goal is $10,000. 2 Rotarians have donated $7,000. Your donation can be given in the name of the Lake Mills Rotary Club.
Motion made by Janine to allocate $25,000 towards naming rights for library expansion from Lake Mills Rotary Club and designated individual Rotarians donations to the library expansion project. Second by Tonya O. Motion carried.
Motion made by Jim W. to approve the naming rights for the wall to display art. Second by Jenny M. Motion carried.
Tanzania Water Project – donate individually if desired. Information will be on link for video and instructions to donate in upcoming Club announcements.

March 25 5:30pm evening meeting at the Grist – each attendee will pay for their own meal and drinks. Speaker will be Tami Baker. Topic: Break the Silence, Mental Health Affects Everyone.
Concessions – PTO is debating volunteering to work the concessions during the spring/summer season. Will know more soon.
Rotary magazine this month has an article written about the Lake Mills Rotary Club.
At the March 3 meeting, Scott T. will come and discuss pickle ball classes and teachers of the month will be honored.
Scholarship
Board recommended referring proposed application rating/scoring sheets to the scholarship committee.
Rotary will not provide a dinner for the scholarship recipients due to low attendance in the past. Will invite recipients and parents to the June 2 meeting.
Roadside Clean Up is scheduled for April 15 – weather permitting.
Power lifting student Morgan W. and her mother attended the Board meeting on February 24 requesting sponsorship for nationals. They have raised $500 so far. Goal is $2,500. Rotarians can sponsor individually.
