In attendance: Beth Naughton, Ken Eimers, Ken Hein, John Holevoet, Zach Wedel, Sandee Macht, Anita Martin, Garett Tomasek
Sandee noted the check being sent to the UW Alzheimer’s Research group this week-to the Minds over Mountains location directed by Bill Stork. The total raised for the Pyramid City Run (including the great donation of T-shirts to the run, which saved us close to $800) was $6,628.81.
Beth Naughton mentioned that there will be a sponsor thank you event on January 22nd (timing tentative) at the Lewis Station Winery.
Anita mentioned that the American Legion would be an option for meetings going forward. We would need to coordinate with them.
On December 16th, the holiday party will be held at Pyramid. This is being held in conjunction with the Jefferson Rotary Club. The festivities will start at 5:30pm, with pizzas being served at 6pm and as needed. Those in attendance will be responsible for their own drinks. Hoping to have Eli play some Christmas Carols on the piano and have some festive Christmas Karaoke. Garett volunteered to put a poster together for the event.
We also discussed the Pyramid City Run and the potential of introducing additional sponsorship levels as well as revising the benefits at each level. On December 6th, Ken and John will be going to an event and will scope out how their runs are managed.
We decided to maintain the current pricing for participants for this year.
From an advertising perspective, we need to do more.. Note it on D6250 website. Isthmus, Shepherd Express: Madison TV stations.
Beth summarized the day meeting. Janine spoke about food insecurity. . Beth noted there is a soup and bread meal in conjunction with the Legendary Lake Mills tree lighting December 5th 5-7pm: they are seeking canned goods for food pantry.
Sandee noted that all suggestions for the beneficiaries of the run for CY26 should be submitted by December 3rd.
