Day Meeting Minutes - 2/25/2020 (Feb 25, 2020)

Dave R opened the meeting at the Lake Mills EMS building at 12:20pm and led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance followed with the Four-Way Test.

Committee Reports and Announcements

Chamber of Commerce casino night is March 7th from 6:30pm - 10:30pm. Looking for silent auction items (reach out to Jenn)
RYLA - 5 students selected (3 LM, 2 LS)
Scholarships - Lindsey is joining the scholarship committee
Mitch - Close to having a final number but its looking like just over $19000

PROGRAM

Janine introduced the interact club of Fort Atkinson, accompanied by Jim Nelson of Fort Rotary Club: Kraymer Gladem, Maddie Hansen, Sarah Mepham, Brook Leibman

- 2019/2020 Foreign Exchange

2 ourbound students, 4 inbound students (one of which is through rotary exchange)

- Local projects include blessing box, feed your soul (meal for those in need)

- International project in the Phillippines. They sent $1500 to Dao village to purchase piglets, sewing machines, and fruit tree planting supplies.

- Fundraising events: Culvers scoopie night, pancake breakfast on April 5th,

- RYLA - two students are nominated each year

- 15 interact members are traveling to the Dao village in a few weeks to see the progress resulting from their projects over the last few years
