
Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the country. It is easy to learn how to play, but is difficult to master, so for many people it becomes a long term interest. We know through conversations with community members that there is a LOT of interest in learning the sport. Please join us for our first ever Learn to Play Pickleball Clinic! This clinic is presented by members of the Lake Mills Pickleball Community, including certified instructor Bruce Bergum.
Who: Anyone who would like to learn the game of pickleball. No prior experience is required. Beginners who have already started learning pickleball are also welcome and will learn many important skills to grow their game.
Date: Saturday, June 6th
Location: Lake Mills Middle School
Course Curriculum: We will cover the rules, practice specific shots, work through drills, discuss strategy, and play some real games. Most of the time will be spent with hands on practice.
What to Bring: If you have a paddle, you can bring it to play with. If you do not have a paddle, there will be paddles provided for your to borrow. Wear athletic clothing, shoes, and bring a water bottle.
Cost: $25 per player. All funds raised will support the Lake Mills Rotary Club! Please note: No refunds can be issued.
Time: There are 2 timeslots. Each timeslot can accommodate 16 players
